Hitting the Substack Wall

Words beyond the garden.

I believe I’ve hit the Substack wall. You can only expand and grow so much via the platform and now that the numbers are bottoming out and the subscriptions come few and far between, I’m going to have to look at some way to get my writing that is hosted in Substack more views from somewhere out there, on the shitternet. But how to get those eyes to come to me is a real mystery.

Frankly, I have no idea how I should go about this. Social media doesn’t amount to getting click throughs. Most of which, now ding you in visibility if you even post a link. The internet is contracting at a sickening rate. Once known for its mass information exchange, everything is divided, subdivided, and stuck in hostile walled gardens. So much for the wild wild West days of old.

There’s a digital glass ceiling for some of us. Let me explain…
