In Fiction we Side with those Fighting Tyranny
In Reality... Not so much.
In Reality, the Masses Bend the Knee to Welcome in the Tyranny as “Safety”. One thing I noticed from the Covid-19 power grab was that the people only love truth and freedom in the movies. In reality, the masses long to be slaves to a master class.
How is it that some of the most popular movies of our times depict the minority trying to overcome the fascism and tyranny of an oppressive enemy that wants to control and break the populace, yet in the real world, this is exactly what a great portion of society wants?
When I view the government mandating lock downs, masks, or vaccines, all I see is the oppression and control they are wielding. Especially when the facts from the virus did NOT back up their actions at all (EVER). They fear mongered the populace into accepting a reality from the narrative they created. A narrative that was full of holes and coming from a government body that only ever thinks of itself and their own friends in shady places. And the people for some reason believed they cared? Why?
Movie after movie… From the rebels trying to gain freedom from the Empire in Star Wars, to programs wanting to be free of the machine in The Matrix, to the resistance to the Capitol that controls the various regions in The Hunger Games, to the lies sold as truth from The Ministry of Magic in Harry Potter, we cheer on the correct side in the conflict. However, when it comes to our own government, propaganda media, and the system that is over us, “We the People” somehow think that they are above reproach, truthful, and working in our best interests??? How???
Our fiction is based and created in the reality of truth. Most of the paradigms we see are there not because the author or writers believed it could never happen but because this level of control is a reality that could (and does) very much come to be our own reality. From the oppressiveness of the Nazi’s (who used public health to discriminate against Jews) to the Communist scourge that used people likes cogs in a wheel to keep government officials in power in order to use the people as nothing more than pawns to be moved by those in control. Our fiction and the warnings used, come from the truth of a past that was lived. A history that the current population refuses to learn, and so, is doomed to repeat.
Those who normally cheer on the resistance in fiction are now those most likely to be the ones demanding others bend the knee and lick the boot in submission to the establishment. They’ve fallen for the lies and embraced safety and control measures that are nothing but a charade. In doing so, they’ve become part and parcel to the tyranny. The government is the enemy within that breaks our founding but the people complying with the government to do so, are also the enemies within and are just as dangerous via their ignorance and complicity.
We live in a world where the controlled narrative is ALL. Facts that prove the narrative wrong are censored. People who prove the narrative false are silenced. At no time in history has censorship been a good thing. It’s only used when the truth is getting out. The truth is classified as misinformation against the standard and approved narrative. YOU as a human being are not smart enough to make your own determination. YOU as a human being must be told what to think, how to feel, and what to do. YOU must listen to the narrative because the narrative is ALL.
Any “source” claiming to be the end-all be-all “source of truth” is most likely the biggest liar out there. That’s the red flag to look for. That’s the red flag that tells you that you should not trust that source at all. There is no such thing as a “source of truth” in anything from our reality. Once you start talking that way, you’ve entered into the realm of faith, where you must believe what your senses and mind tell you is something else. In the realm of mankind, there’s no one that has that power to warrant them being your source of truth. For any government, politician, or scientist to claim this, is… Sheer Fucking Hubris.
To me this was nowhere more shockingly apparent when during lockdown I went back to the bad bar where not much previously I had quaffed many a pint and shared many a toke in the seedy back alley among the self-declared radicals and rock-n-roll rebels who sang War Pigs from their cradles ffs.
In fact I had left because I wanted to cling on not to respectability, I admit (and look at me now, ha ha) but also physical health
I thought for sure these rebel angels would be the loudest denouncers of the mask of death, of anti-social distancing, of the lockdowns that had already by then put so many other music venues, cafes, pubs and restaurants in jeopardy, never, as it turned out, to return.
AND YET. Going in I was accosted immediately not only with a demand I wear a mask, but also I give up my ID. (I wonder now whether proximity tracking was completely accomplished, or whether they've shelved that for now?)
I pointed out to the fierce-looking, denim and leather-clad, pierced and tattooed, scowling maitre d'/bouncer that the mandates weren't binding, that lockdowns weren't lawful, that the newsmedia were owned and manipulated, that small businesses should have been the biggest opponents of the typrannical power play against them... but he was adamant, hostile, defensive, irrational - which he had always been to be truthful, but at least previously he had at least talked the talk of resistance.
All this to say the metalheads and rockers and other "rebels" turned out to be the saddest flimsy pack of pansy-assed pussies of them all. Cowards come in all stripes.
It was such a disappointment, so disillusioning, such a downer. Apocalypse has been something of a drag so far, gotta say.
Although on the flipside I've hardly been to a bar again since that day in 2020.
It’s really no mystery. It’s immature adults who are afraid of the world and lack confidence to make it on their own, so they want a helicopter mommy government to protect them.
