This, That, and The Other (Walking 8-BIT Edition)
Breaking the Matrix.
The Matrix is 8-BIT
Every morning, while driving into the office and listening to Faderhead or some other EDM album, I see a male power walker doing his thing in his colorful oversized t-shirt and sweat shorts. The Matrix breaking part of this, is that the dude matches the beats in the music every single time with his short, quick, precise steps and limited arm swings. He looks more 8-BIT than human. Frankly… it’s bizarre to witness.

I don’t know… I’m tired of Leto and I’d much rather see a direct sequel for Legacy. Still… That trailer looks better than anything else Disney has barfed up into the world, as of late.
Modern Day Movies and TV Show are so Boring!!!
Going with the trailer above… Why does NOTHING look even remotely MUST SEE and exciting anymore?
My current watch list consists of rewatching Farscape (yet again), Cowboy Bebop (again), Stargate SG1, Interstellar (again), and Logan’s Run (again so many times over). The newest thing I’m watching is the final season of Bosch: Legacy (at least that’s still good), and White Lotus season 3 (which just ended and was by far the weakest season. How many montage scenes do you need??? LAME!!!).
Movies are even less interesting than TV shows too. The reliance on CGI vomited all over the screen is not interesting at all. No story anymore. Just fake ass looking CGI where the background is even CGI and looks either flat or part of the animation. I blame the LED Vault/Wall (the CGI in real time that Disney/Lucas Film created). Star Wars/MCU started using that crap and now everyone is using it. It looks horrible. You can even tell where the floor from reality meets the CGI wall in a lot of things. Truly horrible live action CGI cartoons from this crap.
Oh well… at least we have a wealth of old stuff to entertain us as the modern world falls apart…
And we have books. Go read a book.
