My situation is not the same as the average writer. I'm in the art and upcycling business/community and writing about the experiences in creating projects and finding innovative ways to make art from relics. In general my client are my readers and am careful to not use this platform to market our works but to showcase it, so my audience is other artists - mostly. I never set out to be a 'writer' but found that I love it, even with no training other than my not paying attention in school. Maybe something will come of it if enough people share and like what we are all doing.

Somehow… Substack needs to advertise to readers more. The writers know where to go, “It’s the readers Substack, go bring in more readers!!!”
